Time is usually short to be with you

Time is usually short to be with you

On our way home,

you told me that you were going to leave for your business.

"Ah? wait!"

I wondered,

" Are you kidding me too?"

"No, this is why I am liberty of telling you that."

You looked at me tensely,

" I have to catch the train tonight."

"Why didn't tell me this morning?"

I ran my fingers through my hair and looking at your eyes,

why was the time usually too short to be with you?

" You should stay at home taking a good rest today,

you are so tired now,

I will worry about you."

"No, I am very happy,

wonderful time, isn't it?

Oh, you know,

I am a very vital sort of person,

don't worry."

You tightly took hold of my arm,

it seemed you were afraid that I would fly off.

"All right.

Can I walk with you to the station?"

I was calm and took thing as they came,

I tried to gave you a good feeling,

Although I was not feeling quite well.

At that moment,

my mind was in a whirl......

" Thanks. It is very late about at 10:30,

I will be anxious if you return home alone."

Your serene smile calmed me down,

"Don't worry,

there is loads of time,

I even have time to take a rest.

I will write you as soon as I get there."

"Take care of yourself,

I must be getting home,

you are my heart."

It was getting dark,

on my way home,

you pushed me against the wall,

give me a very kiss on my brow,

then you set off at a quick trot......

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
