Broken families fall to pieces,
Watch them crumble and fall,
Harsh words and cruel intentions,
Words said that weren't meant to be said,
Fist thrown against the wall,
Hit it then begin to fall,
Say your sorry and didn't mean it,
Try to make things better,
Say the heck with it and walk out the door.
Broken feelings and emotions locked inside,
Watch them crumble and fall,
Sad poetry and cuts on their arms,
Feeling alone and empty inside,
Yell you love them and please stop fighting,
believe things will get better in time,
Beg 'em to stay and please don't leave.
Walking alone at night,
Just needing to find some place right,
Somewhere you can do what you want and nobody cares,
You move on with your life like it never happened.
Standing at the door,
Crying and yelling for you to stay,
Sorry about caring for what you do,
Life didn't go on,
I cut myself because of you...

to be honest....I think it sounds good the way it is...I wouldnt change anything...wouldnt want to take anything away from the point your are conveying here...you did a good job.
