I remember nights that we shared our treasures,
spared no secrets, our moon only heard them all.
The rivers edge held us tightly, singing long into the night.
Flames of a fire casting dancing shadows, silhouettes in the tree’s.
We owned the night, our secrets, danced around the fire.
We wanted nothing more than just being, precious moments.
The stars tossed down their dust, adorning us in radiance.
Summers echo I hear it now, wondering where you are.
Our moments long walks frank talks carried us along.
Like the rivers wild and free, wild flowers on the banks.
We float and we are, then and now, lost moments and forgotten tears.
I see our moon, the one we shared often, your voice fading into the winds.
and I miss you………………..

missing someone could be so heartbreaking sometimes...this was soft with words but powerful and strong in its meaning

What a priceless write! Although your poems is about missing someone or longing for the past, I also sense the happiness that it brought at one time... and that makes it priceless... Those memories will always remain ....
