Young Imperfections

LoveRemembered

We had each other. We had it all.
I would write letters, and you would call.
We “prayed” Our Father. My hand in your palm.
For worse. For better. For you I’d fall.
More young, less stupid. Just simply human.
Our “love” short-lived. Can’t forget. I do forgive,
but please! Prove me this, by word, not by kiss,
that you still feel bliss since I am not missed.
