I wish I could convey to you the pain that I feel
How heavy the world lays upon me
I wish you knew this pain that is real
Oh how I wish you could see
All the alcohol and cigarettes dont make it fade
This pain still follows me far and wide
Soon I will nothing more than a shade
Led to the grave by little more than my pride
I love you deeply till the day that I die
But that day is closing in quickly
I only speak the truth, no longer a lie
Oh how I wish you could see
You raise me up to heights unknown
But the crash that follows is more than I can bear
Inspite of the happiness to me you've shown
I write this so you know I really do care
One day we will part our ways at a splitting path
You will continue in life and I will enter a dirt hole
Soon I will take a different road, I hope you see the math
I will subtract myself from here but you will forever have my heart and soul
