walking down lonely streets a man confronted me just sitting on the curb
You...... the one with the world in his eyes he said and the bleeding from the heart
the world needs to help itself before you can make change
he asks me to get closer as he whispers in my ear
spead the world that the new savior is just around the bend
he is asking for change but not the kind that comes within
he is looking for you to help yourself and pass a few his way
his time is short and so much to do before he fades away
he been calling for years but his voice is swallowed by the mass
yelling in crowds as he is pushed and weak souls crashed
then he said to me not to think so bad
we had our run we all should be glad
times are tough and the church needs the cash
even if he is wearing armani under the cloak and shash
he still has kindness in his eyes as long as the money flows
remember there is a spot in heaven with a little money there is nowhere we cant go
murders rapist and politician all will have a place
running the fast life flunting towers in this glorious empty space
now let me live i have people to play
voices to scream dead to give away
now walk and tell that money is king
fall on your knees let the fire begin
