Have you ever heard my breath catch?
When you’re standing close to me.
Have you noticed the overt pleasure?
Consuming my body.
Have you witnessed the adoration?
When I'm gazing up at you.
Have you felt it in my tender touch?
There's nothing I wouldn't do.
Have you ever seen me searching?
Always looking for your face.
Have you wondered at my stubborness?
Cos I can't give up the chase.
Have you ever seen my soul light up?
Cos it's you I get to see.
Have you seen the sadness in my eyes?
Cos I know we'll never be.
