I think about the time before and the moments of today.
I heard the stories of long ago and tonight in time of war I pray.
I pray for rest and comfort and a safe return home.
To be near those who love you and appreciate the seeds you have sown.
I send a little angel to ride on your shoulder.
I know that you will love her even though you are a tall proud soldier.
Never for a moment doubt that you are every minute in our hearts.
We thank you proudly for everything knowing it is hard but you do your part.
Our freedom, our life, our breath, our health........
Bless you one and all.
special hugs to my family and friends in Iraq right now.
