I can't do this anymore,
having feelings I'm forced to ignore.
I watch myself date guys that mean nothing to me,
when thoughts of you still won't let me be.
I wanted you and I to be so much,
for us to have that special touch.
That kind of- high school sweetheart deal,
but now I think you don't know how I feel.
I made a mistake ever confiding to someone else,
I should have told you what was on my mind.
Because I can't be with anyone but you,
There isn't a better find.
I'm annoying and too loud,
and you still wanted me around.
You are shy and not ready at all,
yet I still reach for you when I fall.
Letting you go was the biggest mistake
and I'd take you back if you were here to take.
So watch me as I try once more,
to lye my heart on your front door.
