As I sit in my tent
Listening to the sounds of rain
Picturing your face
And enjoying the pain
Emotionally Masochistic
Terminally unrealistic
Fatally sadistic
Yet completely quixotic
Words fall through my mind
Never staying for much time.
Always trying to find something to say
As I stumble over every phrase.
