I opened up my eyes
Darkness all around me
My heart is so heavy
That for once I wish it stops beating
I hugged pillow closer
Hoping to give some comfort
To the heart that is already broken to many pieces
Feeling the tears flooding inside my heart
I know I am drowning in this pain
How I wish I could just cry those tears out
And wash away all the feelings I had for you
As painful as my heart is
I’ll remember those sweet memories we shared
Memories that will heal the broken heart
Memories that will make me smile when it comes to mind
Memories that will never be forgotten
No matter how hard I try
And whenever I think of you
I know these memories will be there to accompany me
