I could stare in your eyes all day, more than once Ive been lost in them.
A beautiful shade of blue-gray, but your eyes belong to him.
Maybe one day it could be us instead of you and your current love.
However I doubt that will happen, without a miracle from above.
Because you are just fantasy, youre every girl ive ever asked out.
They all stung me like killer bees, as for true love ive always had doubts.
So say "no" and apologize, this is nothing new to me.
Your explanation will be washed away with the help of a few 40s.
But maybe one day someone will say yes, or maybe im still dreaming.
Maybe one day a girl will settle for less, thats the day my eyes will be gleaming.
