THE FIRST TIME I SAW YOU
YOU HURT MY FEELINGS SO
YOU MADE ME HATE YOU
FOR THIS I KNOW

I DIDNT SEE YOU AGAIN
FOR AT LEAST TEN YEARS
AND AT THAT TIME WE
BECAME VERY GOOD FRIENDS

I DID NOT RELIZE THAT YOU COULD
BE SO SWEET THE NEXT TIME
I SAW YOU,,,,YOU SWEEP ME
OFF MY FEET

YOU PUT YOUR ARMS AROUND ME
TOLD ME EVERY THING WOULD BE
ALRIGHT AND FROM THAT MOMENT
ON I DIDNT WANT TO LET YOU
OUT OF MY SIGHT

I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU
AND EVERY THING THAT YOU
ARE YOUR SWEETNESS YOUR
HEART AND YOUR OH SO GENTLE
TOUCH I NEVER REALLY KNEW
THAT I COULD LOVE SOME ONE
THIS MUCH

WHEN YOU LEAVE TO GO TO WORK
I PRAY EVERY DAY THAT THE GOOD
LORD UP ABOVE WILL BRING YOU
