We will meet again in a better day
It was getting dark,
I was sitting at a desk,
I opened my notebook,
I extracted a red pen from my handbag.
The pen and the notebook were both very special gifts you gave me,
so they were always with me.
I bent my face low over the pen,
I looked up from the notebook from time to time,
I was looking at your picture on the desk:
"How are you today, my dearest?
What are you doing, my sweetheart?"
I thought you would hear my word,
I hoped you would not go to bed too late.
When you were going to leave me that night,
you gently wiped my tears saying have a good rest,
I pretended a look of happiness.
When there was only your back I was looking at,
the problem had assumed a new form and became harder.
Did you know?
what you had wiped was only the tears then,
how could your heart was hard as stone?
"Don't worry about me,
you know I am very clever being alone,
I will have enough time to listen to the happy song."
I tried to be strong before your eyes,
I was filled with desire,
I hoped you would stay with me longer.
You went away slowly,
I lost my way suddenly,
I suddenly remembered I didn't bring my key,
when my hand went to my pocket,
I found my hand round the key.
Did you know?
a cool shower soon woke me up,
when I looked at the mirror,
I felt I became older......
Slowly I was really awakened from the memories:
"After several weeks or months,
we will meet again in a better day."
I was feeling better,
I felt it would be advisable to think of nothing.
I looked at the clock,
the silence was succeeded by the striking of the clock,
I handed the pen with your body heat,
to write down the diary in the notebook with full of recall,
then took it and went to bed......

There is just something so touching and warming about these writes. I loved this one as much as the others. Lovely........
