Mortality of men

A scream fades as it echoes
shaking the morals of humanity
and blood rinses the eyes of men,
mortality's day has ended.
The sunrise goes unnoticed, unappreciated
and Music stops without realization,
the land has become saturated
and a baby cries in silence
into the world of darkness
the earth is eclipsed by its immortality,
humanity dies when life does not.

I find a feeling while reading this I cannot describe at the moment and that is what I love about poetry.
Humanity dies when life does not........ profound statement.... I had just had this conversation with someone the other day great write.
