theres no way i can win, I know that
Ive been made a fool of again yet you give me a useless chance
Im not the best, this is a fact
so why try when i cant be that?

thought i was number one but not
the pressure builds as you get closer to the top
but i cant win, wont let my pride drop
and it means nothing winning as something youre not

you keep pushing, i keep fighting
its like they keep hooking, i keep biting
they brush it off as nothing, Im barely not dying
its easy as muffins but I still pass out trying

Ive proven i have skill on my side
but they have every unfair advantage in life
and most sad is that there is no prize
but I still foolishly fight

for what, im not sure
begged and begged for answers
but I was rehearsed like a dancer
this isnt what i asked for

i cannot take it more much
Im officially giving up
so do whatever you must
i just want out from this fate i am stuck

With my own thoughts/input, like you wrote, I digg this...........Simple but good

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
