Why Should I Care?

I know I really should have cared but this was written about how I felt.

Why should you care I shouldn’t be alone right now?
I only sat in front of you not so long ago.
My body trembled with fear.
As my eyes watered, with sorrow.

Why should you care if I’m backed into a corner?
You don’t suffer the way I do.
You just pretend they care to use me.
And now you’re annoyed that I haven’t pulled through.

Why should you have listened when I needed you?
I’m not as strong as what I should be.
So I guess you have a right to be annoyed.
I guess you’ve a right to not like me.

Why should I care about what’s happening?
I’m only dropping some thing I enjoy out of fear.
He threatened to ‘cut me into pieces if I tell you’,
So why does it matter I sat in front of you almost in tears?

This is disturbingly insightfull and i feel for you big time, i really hope its all okay now, at least you can vent your inner feeling through writing, Never agian let anyone take advantage like this, BE STRONG and hold your head up, nice write btw
