'ode to that moment'

‘Ode to that moment’

Try to believe, I can hear you breath,
your silky skin I'm able to caress.
Your eyes, twinkle eternally, the wells bottom-less
Your hand: a delicate masterpiece, I hold beneath

Your hair, each strand, teases me
each curl is more to me than worldliness.
A mere gaze that you may endow upon me
is a plunge in a pool of heavenly bliss.

Infinite thoughts flood my mind
but on any attempt I make to express,
the thoughts flee, I remain wordless,
my tongue is bound in magical bind.

I get closer to you, you come near,
and never your express any fear,
our lips join, I explore your endless brew,
forgetting that moment, any holiness I ever knew.

We just part for a moment,
then our feelings burst,
again, so we, kiss to quench our thirst ,
and again I'm caught in this exotic torment.

I try to come to, but remain oblivious,
you still seem to linger besides me.
Still I carry this vision of us,
I'm entangled, this web will never set me free.

AP.
