That look of betrayal
I saw today in your eyes,
Will haunt me forever
Till the day that I die.
Even though as I see it
What I did wasn’t wrong.
You are the only one
To whom my heart will ever belong.
I’ve always been faithful,
You know that to be true.
Ever since I was in my teens,
I’ve loved no one but you.
Could you find it in your heart
To forget that silly incident,
Know that I will always love you,
And to hurt you was never my intent.
