~Just Breath~

Contributed by shelby on Wednesday, 14th May 2008 @ 02:32:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The wind
sings their song
long ago a love so far away
the scent of her
sweet like lilacs
blessed by rain
in the month of May.

Golden leaves
summers last breath
she thought she saw him
walking through the park.
Couldn't be
her eyes played tricks
another leaf falls.

Crystal flakes
fall let go
he saw her reflection
in the partly iced over pond
was it really her
or was it just a brief thought?

Like a dream
lost in thought
floating with the clouds
puffed white cotton
and it is gone
one last moment
one last tender thought

Just breath...........

This is a stunning write, i could feel the that momentary hope in seeing someone iv not for ages, i almost floated through this peice such was the soft and measured flow, like a passing dream with great word usage, overall a brilliant write, loved the last line also!!!
