The night falls around you.
I know that you are scared.
Beside your heart a hard ache
eyes filled with stilled tears.
Threatening to let lose
and spill to earths floor
not knowing what to do
or what this world is for.
I think of you, I cry your tears, I feel your heart, I mix with your rain.
The day comes again
just as every morn before.
One foot in front of another
though the hurt and pain is sore.
Begging at your thoughts
pulling at your strings
attached so deeply to your heart.
I think of you, I send you the sun, I feel your heart, I mix with your rain.
