Sitting with my lonely self
Thinking about my life
Wondering what would have happened
If I took another dive
If I haven’t made some choices
If I ignored the voices
If I broke when I was most needed
If I wasn’t strong enough to hold everything together
If I died when I tried
What would happen if I took another
If I allowed the light into my darkness
If I tried to heal my injuries
If I opposed being heartless
If I gave up to life’s luxuries
Will the risk be worth it?
Will more pain be the answer?
Will I fall harder than ever?
Or am I going to fly forever?
Why do people take that risk repeatedly?
Why do people argue intensely?
Why am I wondering about this?
Why do I want to cling to some hope?
How did your words reach me?
How did you get in there?
How did I get confused?
Even though I had it all in mind
