~Angel Dreamer~

Topic: DarkPoetry

In the sky of deadly eve is where he looks for her.
The angel of his salvation, his lost souls starvation.
He lives the lie longing for someone who will not be.
He chases a ghost of his lost reality, she..... no angel at all.

Oh angel dreamer close your eyes once more.
She carries no wings she is nothing more
than a temptation luring you away from your moral thoughts.
You shall one day awaken in a bed of old dead thorns.

Caught between your split worlds and two sided personalities.
Living in your curse of unfilled fantasies.
You see her face once more, in that demon sky.
Hearing her voice on a springs humble lullaby.

Oh angel dreamer close your eyes once more.
She carries no wings she is nothing more
than a temptation luring you away from your mortal thoughts.
You shall one day awaken in a bed of old dead thorns.

The bed in which you made..........

Nice write here, real well done!!! i could easily feel the temptress dwelling in these lines, there was an almost lyrical quality to alot of it, like a forboding elegy or something,
great piece!!! keep it up.

As we sit in our robes at our desks we all agree that this is an outstanding work of art. So perfectly crafted and so bold. In honour of this art we tie one of the Ghost Alarms (the one who is always slightly different than the rest of us....the one we refer to as Chub Alarm) to a swing and then spin him around. Eventually we begin chasing him. The swing is set on an hour timer at going at a rate that is impossible to catch. We try in vain to catch him as he is screaming (let me down you morons!) while he swings through the air with the greatest of ease. Eventually we tire and stop. Now we are dizzy, and we run into one another each falling on top of another. This was another botched experiment but we learn one thing in this experiment that we learn in your write. Chasing a ghost, or a ghost alarm can lead to lumps in the head or beds of thorns. Ghosts are created to let go, and they do not haunt unless we allow them to remain a part of the living world.

Kudos to you Shelby on your fascinating write. We are exceptionally pleased as always. That is many pleases of exception for we are many.

May a giant ghost horse fly buzz around your head today until he becomes dizzy and stings you with fear.

The Ghost Alarms 08
