You talk and I try to listen
But your words are just a whisper
Nothing that you say sparks my interest
I look into your eyes and see you try
Try to talk, to question and to teach
You look at me and into thoughts
And see a void swirling in my mind
Underneath the folds of darkness
Lost in the joys of my imagination I play
Your words lost to the void
You talk and I don’t listen.

you talk and i dont listen
typically this must of been written by a man
and as i girl i'd read into this as your girlfriend or wife was having a conversation that didn't
'spark' you're interest
although i dont think this poem was meant to be amusing and meant something else to you i cant help but see it as a man who cannot multi-task..and is bored like so many other men by a simple conversation with a woman.
great write however x |
