A heart scattered all over
A body bleeding inside
A soul injured from life
A love long lost but still alive
I've done all that I can
I’ve tried so hard to forget
I've failed, yet I insist
I am no longer the same man
I try hard to succeed
I done it all, yes indeed
I moved out of her life
Even thought I wanted her my wife
I acted like I don’t care
But I do, to God I swear
I thought forgetting would make it go away
But that only left me astray
To her I was so true
Anything for her, I do
But for her it was a game
I was a prey, what a shame
I gave her my heart in a golden plate
I asked her to become my date
She took it with a smile on her breathtaking face
Who thought this will be my final case
I thought life is beautiful
But it was all a lie
It was going to be my funeral
Just because whatever she sells, I buy
Too many times I repeated this mistake
Too many times I let my heart break
Each time I say this is right
Thoughts keep me up all night
Each time I think she’s the one
But the moon won't meet the sun
This time I’ll make it right
This time it won't be a fright
I won't allow myself to dwell
In thoughts that are more painful than hell
I won't allow myself to love
Go to the edge and take a shove
I won't allow myself to fall
And be another girl’s doll
I won't accept that pain
I don’t want to be insane
So I say it one more time
This will be my prime
I will not fall for the same trick
From love I am so sick
With loneliness I will bind
I don’t think I’ll ever change my mind
