The art of confusion is painting my canvas
all in hard detail and colors profound.
Sometimes I am coming and other times am going
seems in a large circle round and round.
One wants to hide from the truth
the canvas has it boldly placed in front of my eyes.
Wishing doesn't make it go away
wanting doesn't make things stay the same.
Or was the same really at all what once thought?
It is about keeping and throwing away.
It is about staying or going.
It is about shifting through all the madness
and searching for that one spot of calm.

Oh! My dear, a torrent of emotion has swept through you of late. I really like the reference to your current state of mind through the canvas. Was it ever what you thought it was? Did you really look deep into the painting to see the true colors? I truly hope you can find your spot of calm, dotted somewhere on the canvas which is your life. Great write, and great imagery!

Your canvas seems a mirror to me as I can see so much of my own yearning for peace in it & I color in confusion often enough, teehee. That this is a good write is obvious, but for me the relatabilty makes it that much better.
