you thought it was her
someone special
you thought she could take all the worries of the world away
but I didn’t want your eyes
this wasn’t supposed to hurt
all the needles in this world can’t save anyone now
but it was someone special
you could see it in your eyes
all the stars could shine
but all the stars will fall someday

welcome to the ocean
tonight
lost at sea
but in your eyes
you can find me
not the lies that hide in time
not the lies

so we’ll just move on, right?
someone special dies again
everything makes sense
but nothing can save us
the world is beautiful
void of pain
right?
right?
right?

but in all my love
I never meant to kill you
