In the darkest room you lay
Thinking you don’t want to slay
Wondering about who you love
Wishing that you were a dove
No responsibility
Nothing done regrettably
No leaving
No heart breaking
You miss them, you really do
But this family’s just great to you
You close your eyes, you rest, and you try to sleep
You live your dreams, You dig down deep
Let go of what you regret
Just forgive but never forget
Let go until your soul soars
And when you wake up, the next day opens new doors
