White lines all around me
Sad stars surrounding
We’re on a tired journey
And I wake up on the gurney
Outside it’s all raining
And all my love's been draining
I lost myself in the atmosphere
Dismay personified whom specters fear
I call out in the black of night...a laugh I have heard,
Murmurs of a scarlet shadow and I knew her
I don't know, no, I don't know
If she'll ever hear my echo
Lights so yellow they terrorize my dreams
I've lost the sense to feel anything
Except when the world stops turning
As waking up reveals my place on the gurney
