Echoes around this hollow cave,
Give away trembling heartbeats,
Young libertine casts his eye 'cross the plain,
To be caught in petal's swift lair,
Through wax and wane awaiting muse,
Solstice brought faint relief, scant hope,
Whence stellar rays blinded his scope,
Ensuing storm cleansed his fear.
Patience often alludes the fool,
But deer must be stalked like lessons taught,
For such caves need not be home,
When standing tall and unafraid.
For two score years a rambling man,
Tracing curves of worn out paths,
Until, salvation, golden skies,
Perusing future, condensing tears.
So let the old angels sing tonight,
Their rapture was not conceived folorn,
Such elegance in harpist's strum,
Tells weary trees to be at ease,
Faith alone in routes of heart,
Won't pollute this world away,
Serendipity, silky smooth,
May have it's say yet.
