~When the hearts involved~

Contributed by shelby on Monday, 28th April 2008 @ 04:53:05 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Oh this heart of mine
how it feels every ounce.
Emotion turning over
emotion over time.

Depth of the feeling
doesn't matter what.
Feel it to the very core
no end no start.

Just how it is.
Ticking deep inside.
Emotions trailing round
feelings just wont hide.

Tuck them beneath the pillow.
Sleep this night wont come.
Hollow world round
nowhere to just run.

When the hearts involved
there is no answer to why
it comes as it comes
it flows then passes by.

Hang tough! Emotion is a fickle growth, but it will abide with time. Writing is what gets us through these trying times.

What to say except this is a good write my heart and mind gets so overwhelmed with emotions in this place that many nights I lay awake and feel lost in this place. They say that time will heal but is that true or is it lies we tell ourselves to just get us through. Take care….Steve

Life is surely about living out our emotions. It is such a torturous endeavour sometimes...yet to be of no feeling would trully be an empty life indeed.
You have written wonderfully about being "IN FEELING"

The heart is very complex, as are emotions. You wrote about them so well. I feel so therefore I am, I laugh and cry, for emotions say I can. Lovely write. Sue x
