Tragedy of Betrayal

A broken heart sings again
The song of tragedy and sorrow
A broken heart shouts in pain
Shouts that have no echo

It trusted in the name of love
Trusted in the name of brotherhood
Got hit, I wish it was a shove
Got hit, after that it never stood

From the back it got stabbed
With a knife it was jabbed
Got attacked by the closest
From the back by the finest

Broken up deep inside
No more reasons to abide
No more people to make me stay
No more people to take my troubles away

But I know I can't give in
To the darkness within
I know I should just merge with
Turn into the darkest myth
Become one with the darkness
Mix it with my conscious
Consume all that it would give
Use it to forget but not forgive …
