Hidden Secrets

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I want to tell you this
My secrets kept hidden
Deep under my skin
Hidden.

Locked deep inside me
Penetrate these walls and you’ll see
This is not how it was meant to be.
Why can’t you just hear my plea?

I want you to know
My secrets kept hidden
Lost in my mind
Hidden.

Distorting my view
This is not something that I choose,
Mind over body; I lose.
Can’t you see its my form of abuse.

I want you to see
My secrets kept hidden
Sealed tight on my lips
Hidden.

Old habits die hard
Looked down upon with no regard,
A pawn that you can just discard,
Left feeling broken and scarred.

You will never find
My secrets kept hidden
My secrets alone
Hidden.

I enjoyed this. A womans struggle. She wants so desperately for him to understand her, yet, she needs him to do it on his own, but he never will and she will never tell.
Well done.

"ENJOY, THE ABUSE..." -combichrist

we all have our secrets, but anything can be figured out if someone so wishes to figure it out. so i figure i will simply point out that i would prefer people not put their faith in people NOT finding such secrets. i found many. i know many. i am many.

^_^ YAY inane use of puns to provide a propagated outlook on one thing or another.

This is a nice poem. I really enjoyed the metaphors!
