Dream

Contributed by Vixen99 on Thursday, 13th March 2003 @ 02:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

When I was a little girl
I dreamed of being a princess
A princess that had everything and more than anyone else could have
I would look into the mirror and just see me
Dancing around, combing my hair
And dreams of being a princess turned into what I would like to do with the rest of my life
Older now, if I look into the mirror
I still see myself
But I someone else in there too
Someone looking back at me through that reflection
It's you
The prince I did dream about
And yet how my dreams did change over time
I still have one dream that did come true
My prince charming and his face I get to see
The one
The one I do love unselfishly and want for the rest of my life
And when you do kiss me
My fairy tale ends with a happy ending
And now I dream of a life that we can share together
Getting past all obstacles and nothing could break us apart
Yes, you are my new dream
