The Letter I Will Never Send

Contributed by jesusofholland on Friday, 25th April 2008 @ 06:21:30 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Every day that I'm without you
I feel another piece slip away
Together we felt so complete
Apart it's hard to pass the day

When was the last time
You could truly say you loved me?
For me it's not so hard because
Each day I feel it in me

I thought I paid attention
To the little things you said
For when you needed, you told me so
But it went straight through my head

I know it's all my fault
That I brought us to an end
My dear I hurt you deeply
The day we both lost our best friend

They say that time will heal all wounds
Though for me its made it worse
So long I pushed emotion down
To bury in the earth

I miss the nights I held you
I miss your soft embrace
And though I'll never see you again
I will love you just the same

Send it , it might just change your life. Sad poetry is always the poetry with the most thought in it.
