what is life worth when no one looks into your eyes-not even for a moment,
life isnt always by choice but a path of consistent misfortune,
no matter how hard you want people proud of your accomplishments,
you feel you fail-beneath all layers of conscienceness,
you try your hardest-but you fail to see the upward progression,
feels like people wear a facade because you don't realize you're pretentious,
it hurts when a person doesnt recieve gratitude for such things that distinguish,
you finally stop and people wonder whats wrong and say you used to be conceited,
maybe you just wanted to show your talents and you want a little recognition,
you now hold your head down because it was no use if they never listen,
it's aweful when you don't get attention-they aren't easily impressionable,
the things said lowers confidence and feels like you're irreputable,
no one deserves your talents you say as you look in a mirror,
hold your head up and knowing you didn't pull that gun's trigger...
