Time shall reveal

Topic: toughstuff

It isn’t easy to describe
How I feel tonight
Though I just wish I could run and hide
But from long ago this was in my sight

I don’t know what to say or do
You confide in me
Though I need someone to confide in too
Someone to wipe away all the tears

You held out long I guess
For me and her and all the rest
But couldn’t you hold out until we were all gone?
Now I have something added to my list to hide from

What will happen to us?
What are we supposed to do?
It’s like walking alone in a deceiving mist
We don’t understand, we’re scared, what must we do?

All this confusion, this fear, this sorrow
It just leads on, it will continue tomorrow
The wind howls outside with a stormy glaze
It fits perfectly with my mind, both are a haze

Will this be the end of me?
Will this lead on into eternity?
Will this haunt me wherever I go?
I fear, only with time shall we see

overall i liked it; feelings expressed well here.

one suggestion though - i think it'd be better if you had a consist rhyme scheme, or none at all? might help a little better w/ the flow, right now it seems a bit... choppy?
