Spoken from the bottom of a dreadfully broken heart. I hear ya ..
but time has a way of changing our minds. (I thought it were not
so a time or two, but was always proven wrong).
The haiku itself, is wonderful. The sentiment is demandingly
emotive and very potent. But I'm afraid I must disagree with the
first statement. True love never dies. It expands, evolves, becomes
stronger, but it never, ever dies. (If love leaves us, then it wasn't true, yeah?)
All in all, EXTREMELY thought provoking! Very hard to do with
a haiku! Well done, poet!
