You put me up on a pedestal,
Only to watch me fall.
You pull me up to push me down.
You are the meanest of all means.
I let you in my heart,
Only to have you walk all over it.
Was anything left untouched?
You had me every which way you wanted.
But you were never happy,
Never happy with me.
Don't believe in what the photo's say,
I'm not ok.
One day, I'll pick myself up off the ground.
I'll never let you push me again.
One day I'll say I've had enough,
But today I stay.
In my weaker moments I still love you.

When you are in love with someone, sometimes it can take years before you can truly move on. But move on is exactly what you must do. There is too much left in life yet.

| very sad write. i have been in this situation myself..the best thing to do is just walk away..it's hard when your in love i know..but you gotta rip it off like a bandaid..it's gonna hurt like hell, your gonna cry...and it will take time before you don't think about it and cry anymore..but you gotta do what you gotta do..your life is worth more then this situation...i can guerantee the next situation only gets better...the next might not be perfect, and it might not be the one, but it will be better then this one...just let it go. |
