BackStabbing Love

Contributed by Chichi on Saturday, 19th April 2008 @ 03:54:48 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

As you stand there watching me scream.
I want you to remember all the things we have seen.
The fights we’ve had.
The children we had.
The life we made.
But you wasted our love.
On a skanky whore.
Whos love was only to the money in your pocket.
So you locked me in the basement.
So you could kill the kids.
And while I scream you stir the kids some milk.
Lacid with poison to help stop the guilt.
You serve it to the children.
They drink and slowly fall to a deep dark sleep.
And as you walk down the steps with a dagger in your hand.
You place you hand along my breast.
And stab me 18 times in the chest.
As I slowly close my eyes ,I see the tears upon your eyes.
Your by my side, saying God,what have I done.
I close my eyes and embrace the Angels grace.

I could never understand what would possess a man to do this.. In the past month, there have been two separate but similar situations on my island...thank God, two of the four children were saved.... it is a shocking situation...and you told it in such an admirable way..

Powerful, upsetting well written poem.
