You’ll never know how much I love you.
You are the apple of my eye.
I like myself the very best,
When you’re walking by my side.
I do not know how you could care,
And love one such as me.
You came and brought new hope, new life,
Now my love’s for you to see.
Someday in mansions high above,
That are waiting for us there,
Will you come and sup with me,
And together eternity share?
As darkness hovered over me,
You erased it with new light.
There’s only warmth in your soft arms.
No longer cold of night.
