Im finally Me

It's getting dark in this house of mine.
One by one the lights are flickering and going out.
I hear a voice in the distant woods shout.
A cry or a call i dont know.
Forever bound to here i am.
All alone surrounded by the voices of a million mistakes.
To live a life of solitude untill i find myself.
The sun hasnt been my way in an eternity im just waiting for that day.
Your the lock on my chain on my leg.
Your words tear up my heart and brain.
I cannot see my way around this place im just searching for a key.
A way to get out.
Whats that ?
A key i've found it im free
The world awaits me.
The chain is no longer attached i can leave you and this house behind.
I feel so rejeuvanated.
The auroa on my body is relit.
My energy has these old lightbulbs glowing stronger then before.
I am so full of emotion.
I feel more powefull then before i could set ablaze to this world and the oceans.
Im free eventually no more false words.
No more second chances
Dont call me yours
As i never was
No kisses on your forehead
No goodnights before you go to bed.
Your alone and thats alll that matters
I dont care if your hearts in tatters.
Im stronger now then ever before.
Watch me become me
And be happy for something you never had.

I love the way you wrote this....and I have to say that I can identify with what you are saying here. I have recently gotten out of a situation in which I wasn't comfortable and I am stronger for it. I can also say...I AM FINALLY ME! Great write...
