I don’t know how

Contributed by SilverRain on Wednesday, 16th April 2008 @ 07:30:51 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

How can I give you all of me
when I’m broken on the inside
when emotionally I’m totally wasted
when all I want to do is hide

How can I show you how I feel
if the words just fall apart
if my mind cant perceive what is going on
and I speak with a torn apart heart

I’m so sick of having to be strong
and hunger to find my place where I belong
that now that I found the love of my life
I breathe out
I let go
I relax

But how fair is this on you, my love
Who I smother and try and hold on too
my insecurities take control
make me weak
say things I don’t mean
hurt you with the words I speak

I don’t want to do that

Great write. If they know where you are coming from and care about you it will help them deal with what is going on. Even the strongest need a time to depend on someone else. It is not weakness, but human nature to interact and have give and take with one another. Keep the writes coming.
