It's a girl thing to look into the mirror
and detest what we see
We sharpen our claws, and nitpick our flaws,
even those invisible to the naked eye.
Then we look to a guy to come along and tell us those two simple words,
"you're beautiful".
And even then we only half believe him
when we can so easily retrieve an arsenal of ten negatives
to conteract his every positive.

| you're incredibly naive to think this is only a girl thing. but it was written fairly well even though i think it's a crock. |
