A yellow sun and a cloudless sky
Washed up rocks and a mighty tide
A piece of paper and a broken pen
A sea of dreams and wings to mend

A street lamps glow and fireflies
A shooting star to crack the sky
A fine cigar and a wooden match
Four leaf clovers and a child’s laugh

A pirate ship and a good first mate
Stars and compass to keep them straight
A treasure map and a candle’s light
A chirping cricket on a silver night

A summer breeze and a kite to fly
A rubber ball and a bike to ride
A telephone and a list of friends
A cliff to climb for a red sunset

A rock to skip and an arm to throw
A life to live in a world of hope
