Thirty two painful days
Since the day you went away.
My heart cries out to be next to you.
My tears have only slightly subdued.
Seven hundred sixty eight hours
To realize that I have no power.
Can’t change the fact that you’re really gone.
Can’t allow myself to ever move on.
Forty six thousand eighty minutes
That I’ve had to contemplate it.
Why did you feel your life should end?
Why was it so hard to just contend?
Two million seven hundred sixty four thousand eight hundred seconds,
I can’t even comprehend.
This life is empty when you‘re not near.
This life is meaningless without you here.
Thirty three painful days
Since the day you went away.
Time keeps moving but I’m standing still,
Stuck in this world that you no longer fill.

This is so sad. Your emotions come out of you raw and powerfully. The writing is superb. Hopefully that in itself can be a kind of therapy for you. Good luck! |
