SO YOU WANT TO DIE?

So You Want To Die?

So you say you want to die?
Leave this world and head up to the sky?
Don’t know why you are here any way?
Just cannot take another damn day?

For whatever reason you do not believe
That when you are gone people will grieve
You think they will all dance and celebrate
About that you said there would be no debate

But let me tell you some things you may not know
I must insist you hear them before you go
I am just one of many who do not want you to die
If I could be there with you I’d hold your hand as I told you why

Don’t you know you brighten every one of my days?
I have been trying to show you in so many ways
If you were to die a huge part of my heart would leave
You know I speak the truth. I do not deceive

There would be no singing or dancing in the streets
Just a sad feeling with ever single one of my heart beats
So before you decide you the need to commit suicide
Read this and think of those who truly care and from you will not hide

I love this one. It is rare that people write about the other side of suicide. Everyone alot of the poets just write about how much better the world would be without them here (which to me is a outcry for help anyway) if you have time to write it, then you have time to make it right. I love your view of it, talking from the prespective of one that would be effected. Well put and bold. Keep them coming.

I am glad you posted this I am all teary eyed now. It is refreshing to see the other side I so hate to read all the suicide poems. Suicide leaves a large part of a persons heart missing this I know for a fact.

Awesome loving and caring write my friend.

Wonderful poem but if you really knew me, I don't think you would want me to stay.

U wrote a comment on one of my poems and after that I decided to read some of yours. This one I like the most of the 6 poems I've just read from you..... I would love to read some more......allthought I muss say, I would like to read them written a litte more "hidden" writing, meaning, you write "standard" poem, what's said is said and leaves not much room for creating your own thoughts..........But this is personal taist.....Kind Regards..............!!!!
