Frustrated
I sit here and stare at the screen
Waiting for the words to arrive at the scene
I am trying to get back in the groove
But my damned fingers just won’t move
I had an idea this morning, or so I thought
I cannot remember it after the days battles are fought
There was a time when I turned out two or three poems a day
Now when I do get an idea I cannot find the right words to say
If you knew me a great listener you would find
But a thousand words a minute are flowing through my mind
The words fade before I can get them onto the page
This is causing me a great deal of rage
I am better than this, I know I am
But it is like approaching a door and hearing it go SLAM
There is so much I want to express, so many things to say
Maybe, just maybe I will get them all together one day

And so you will, my friend. I have no doubt that you'll be writing more great poems in the near future. I know the feleing though.. you are not alone...But just look at what you have posted so far....so I'd say, you are well on your way..
