Slowly…Lightly…and Gently
As subtle as a drizzle on a sunny day
Things began to break apart
And that sunny day becomes cloudy
The rain began to fall harder
And the wind began to blow
This is the start of stormy weather
I Guess I will grab my rain coat
Weatherman sees no end in sight
Hurricane Hate may take this all away
But I say bring on the rain
My feet in cement…Ill stay and fight
This storm could last for years
Maybe decades and more
But I have no problem waiting
For I know that sunny day will re-appear.
