Shudder

Contributed by artjunkiekyle on Monday, 7th April 2008 @ 01:25:33 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

I think you should know that you still scare me.
Almost four years and I've uttered not one word.
These words fill my mouth as you so forcibly did.
I saw you, and by chance! Oh what a CHANCE!
I see you and your malicious smile almost exactly four years later!
My heart leapt from my throat.
I stumbled to the floor, felt the twangy pain as I grabbed my side and watched you grin so wide.
One day, one bitter day, I will stare you in the eye and not shudder.
You will FEEL every ripping emotion of pain as I did.
Every choking gasp for breath.
One day my innocuous eyes will bleed out the pain, and flow into you.
One day you will churn with distaste for your unsavory ways.
One day I will meet you again and not shudder.
One day I will not SHUDDER.

This kind of scared me, which I assume was the intent. Kudos

Wow, such a horrible scenario, yet hopefully it has given you strength to fight back. You are right, you will not shudder! What he has taken from you I truly hope will be taken from him one day. Very nice writing.
